Report: Japanese Tea Ceremony (SADO) Workshop

The Japan Language School Teachers' Association (JALSTA), in collaboration with JFND and The DELHI SADO Club, recently hosted a special and profoundly enriching tea ceremony workshop (SADO) for the principals and Japanese language teachers of its member schools.

The workshop, held at The Japan Foundation in Greenpark, New Delhi, provided an exclusive opportunity to delve into the authentic spirit of the Japanese tea ceremony. The event was gracefully conducted by a young master currently undergoing training with The SADO Club, showcasing the club's dedication to preserving and passing on this cherished tradition to the next generation. The Japanese ladies of The Tea Ceremony Club, Delhi, embodied quiet grace, their practiced hands moving with deliberate patience through each precise element of the ritual, allowing the delicate dance of omotenashi (wholehearted hospitality) to unfold.
